Red Skies

Sorry about not being able to rp this week shit got real weird we had to convoy to a base three hrs away. Then skies went red which meant we couldn't leave until today.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

"Ignorance is Your New Best Friend"

*This scene opens to Katie James as she navigates her room packing things into a bag. She wears a Teal blouse and a pair of faded Express jeans. Katie makes her way out of her room and over to the room next door, she knocks on the door. After a little bit of rumbling sounds the door cracks open and Gordie sticks his head out.*

Gordie: Fuck you want?

Katie: We gotta hit the road Gordie.

*A puzzled look creeps across Gordies' face.*

Katie: The Staples Center you goon fuck.

Gordie: Oh yeah completely slipped my mind, give me a few minutes here I'll be ready.

*Katie rolls her eyes and walks away, the camera cuts to Gordies' side of the room as he shuts the door. Katies' friend Julia lays on Gordies' bed completely naked except for the black satin sheets covering her. She's propped up on her elbow smoking a cigarette, Gordie races around the room quickly shoving his ring gear into an A.D.I.D.A.S. gym bag. Julia puts the cigarette in an ash try and reaches for a note pad and pen and starts to scribble something down before showing it to Gordie.*

Julia - Do you think your sister will be pissed?

*Gordie holds up his right boot and starts to search for the left, he stops for a second to read it and throws Julia back her pad of paper.*

Gordie: I don't give a rats ass about my sister, she's hiding something from me a new boyfriend I think so not her place to judge.

*Julia scribbles something else down and hands it to Gordie.*

Julia - I just don't want to ruin our friendship!!!!!

*Gordie reads this and stops his frantic search for his left boot and lays down next to Julia. The two embrace kissing deeply, before Gordie breaks the kiss and continues his all important boot search.*

Gordie: Don't worry Julia I'm not scared of what my sister will think it was her idea for us to hook up anyway. You might wanna start getting dressed her and I have to drive to L.A. for an match.

*Julia finishes off her cigarette and starts to gather up her clothes as Gordie finally finds his boot under the bed and stuffs it in his bag. Julia sits up and slides her dress back on and starts to lace her shoes up. Gordie finished packing comes over to her and lays her back on the bed climbing on top of her.*

Gordie: Wanna go one more time for good luck?

Julia: I'm way too sore, you pretty much left me useless for the next few days. Plus I gotta start getting things ready at the school it's almost the end of August.

Gordie: Awe fine I'll call you when we get back.

*Gordie kissees her on the forehead and climbs off grabbing his bag and leads Julia downstairs. Katie who sits on the couch with a pissed look quickly changes to pure surprise. Julia walks over and the two talk in sign while Gordie sets his bag down and makes his way into the kitchen for a cup of coffee. As he does this he looks at the camera to do his thang.*

Gordie: Well here we are once again for yet another exciting Gordie James promo. What can I say? I do the best I can with what I'm given, which in the case of Ace is absolutely nothing. Whatsamatter chief too busy playing ninja to cut another lame ass promo, hey it's ok buddy in fact don't even bother because chances are I'm not even gonna watch it. Let me tell you something Ace I'm on my way to the Staples Center here and as for you hey don't even worry about showing up. I could wrestle a stuffed giraffe and it would still be way more entertaining then the demolishing I'm gonna lay on you.

*Gordie stops for a second and stays silent as he hears the front door slam shut.*

Gordie: Gotta make this quick on second thought show up and try and surprise the FTW nation by not sucking. Now if you'll excuse me.

*Gordie stands still and counts down from three. As he gets to one Katie enters the kitchen with a berserk look on her face.*

Katie: What the fuck did I tell you?

Gordie: Not to fuck Julia.

Katie: And you did it anyways what the fuck were you thinking?

Gordie: What's the big deal?

Katie: Gordie you took that girls virginity.

Gordie: Bullshit, she did things to me I didn't even know existed.

Katie: God dammit Gordie.

*Katie storms out of the room with Gordie in tow.*

Gordie: Ok I can tell your upset we'll talk about this in the car.

*Gordie sticks his head back into the kitchen looks at the camera and gives his trademark end of promo smile and follows Katie as this scene fades to black.*                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Quick Favor

I look at everyone elses banners and they are all super cool and badass and mine is small and kind lame. So if anyone has a bit of extra time would someone be able to make me a new banner. I can't pay you money but I promise to love you long time. "Feel Good Drag"

*We open to Gordie James who sits in a diner, he sits sipping a cup of coffee. He wears a red t-shirt, black jeans, and his Oakleys' on his head covering the fact that he's hungover. He looks at his watch and sighs as he takes another sip off his coffee. Gordie turns to get up as the diner door opens and a young blond walks in causing Gordie to fall right back into his seat. The young woman wears a black dress, the red streaks in her hair shine as she makes her way to the booth and takes a seat opposite Gordie. The woman looks right at him and doesn't smile just stares, the two sit in uncomfortable silence before Gordie breaks the ice.*

Gordie: I'm glad you decided to give me a second chance, Katie failed to mention the first time that you were you know.....

*Julia speaks surprising Gordie.*

Julia: Deaf.....yes I can talk and I also do other tricks as well.

Gordie: God I'm sorry I'm an asshole.

Julia: Yeah yeah you are.

*The two look at each other a laugh making the mood not so damn awkward.*

Julia: I guess I'm to blame as well for the other night I was just really nervous. That's the reason I stared out the window the entire time, which is something I know not to do.

Gordie: So what do you do for a living?

Julia: I'm a kindergarten teacher.

Gordie: No shit?

Julia: No shit.

Gordie: I think I'm hot for teacher.....wow did that come out as lame as it sounded?

*Julia smiles and nods.*

Gordie: Gotta process things through my brain before I speak.

Julia: Wouldn't be a bad idea, you sister says you're a professional wrestler is that true?

*A waitress walks up.*

Waitress: Anything else for you dear?

Gordie: Oh shit I'm sorry I already ate I've been sitting here waiting for awhile. Did you want anything to eat Julia?

Julia: Just a cup of coffee I already ate as well I didn't think we'd get this far.

Gordie: Just two coffees please.

*The waitress looks at the two and mostly at Julia like she has a third eye growing out of her forehead. After the waitress leaves Julia rolls her eyes and shakes her head.*

Julia: I hate the sound of my voice everyone stares at me like I'm some kind of freak. If it isn't they way I talk it's the way I dress.

Gordie: I like the sound of your voice and I think the way you dress is hot.

*Julia blushes and takes Gordies' hand on top of the table.*

Gordie: So before we were interrupted you were asking about my job.

Julia: Yeah what's it like being a pro-wrestler?

Gordie: Has it's ups and downs just like any other job......

*Julia begins to speak lowering her eyes to the table as she talks. Gordie looks around noticing everyone in the dinner is staring at them. Gordie brings his eyes back to Julia as she finishes her sentence and looks back up at him. Speaking but not out loud Gordie speaks so only Julia can hear him.*

Gordie: Is everyone in here staring at us?

Julia: Yeah I'm sorry it happens almost everywhere I go.

Gordie: Do you wanna get the hell out of here?

*Julia nods and Gordie gets up taking Julias' hand the waitress then steps back out with their coffees.*

Waitress: What about you coffee.

Gordie: Stick it up your ass you faded wanna be showgirl.

*Julia reading his lips laughs and give the waitress the finger as the two exit the diner.*

Gordie: You take a cab?

*Julia nods.*

Gordie: Perfect.

*Gordie leads her to the Cuda and opens the door letting her in, as he walks around to the drivers side he speaks to the camera.*

Gordie: Ya see I don't judge anyone it's not my place to do so, I just roll with the punches so to say. Ace you wanna train with ninjas for some moronic reason, that's fine with me chief. Two weeks ago I lost to Dan Hayter an I gotta give it up to our new Octane Champion he's a hell of an opponent. But as you see with Julia here I don't fuck things up twice in a row. You're in a very dangerous position here Ace you're standing between me and my first win here in the FTW. So now that I think about Ace train with Ninjas, train with shogun, hell you can train with the Taliban for all I give a rats ass. The fact of the matter is once you step in that ring with me there is no saving your ass from whats about to happen. Now back to Dan for a second you said you didn't want a nickname but now you have one Octane Champion Dan Hayter but that nickname comes with a huge target and yours truly is taking aim. Take my praise with a grain of salt because it's just a matter of time before I come to avenge my loss and take that Octane Title for myself, count on that shit champ.

*Gordie pounds on the roof of the Cuda before opening the door and entering the car. As Gordie gets in he notices Julia has her dress half hiked up.
