We find Douglas, dressed in a dark blue Seattle Seahawks polo, khaki pants, and brown dress shoes, currently sitting at his laptop with the TV above tuned to ESPN.

As the tv is reviewing the lakers' surprising win over the celtics, Douglas's computer displays an email.

just then, in the open doorway, The Diamond In The Rough, dressed in jeans, sneakers and a green hoodie...

So chief, gettin' comfortable in the new diggs?

Douglas turns in his seat a little surprised and flustered.

Douglas: Does anyone knock anymore? Damn, I should've remembered to take the doorstop out after I finished unpacking.

Hey... no problem, I was just passing by. I'll catch you some other time then.

With that, Colin Hawkins stepped out of the doorway and turned towards his own locker room.

Douglas quickly gets to his feet.

Douglas: Hold it!

Hawkins turns back...

Something I can do for you?

Douglas looks a little irritated.

Douglas: Did you just come here to make pleasantries, or did you come here to talk about something? Cause if it's the former, you're wasting both our times. If it's the latter, start talkin.

Well, like I said, I was just passing by... but so long as I've got your attention, I might as well tip my hat to you and the situation you've created, while letting you know that I do, fully, understand exactly what I should expect to happen this week on Outbreak.

See, it looks simple on paper... so long as I win this week, that first shot at Heart is mine. A shot I desperately want. My fate is in my hands, at first glance.

But you and I know it's not going down like that, don't we?

Cause the fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter what any of the rest of them do... Force, Crow, Tagatino... any of them. It doesn't matter if they win their matches. They don't get that shot unless I lose.

Should make for an interesting situation, to say the least. I just wanted to let you know that I can see the writing on the wall, and somehow, someway, I'll be ready. I know I can beat Black... and I'll be ready for whatever else happens.

Douglas walks over to Hawkins, still irritated.

Douglas: Tell me Mr. Hawkins...is there some kind of accusation in what you just said?

Accusation? Of what, doing your job?

I think you're doing exactly what you set out to do... stir the pot, create competition, and draw ratings. In fact, I don't assume you can be too happy about the fact that my match got moved to Outbreak... seems a waste that the 'other' show is likely going to reap the benefits of your hard work.

Truth is, Mr. Douglas, that I didn't look into your office and find a bunch of sports magazines or a copy of Forbes on your table. I looked in and saw a chess set. In my estimation, all of this is going according to some plan of yours, and I'm fine with that, because if I'm right, your plan has put me into a position to get what I want.

Just because I'm out there doing what I love and trying to entertain the fans, don't think for a second that I don't understand how this business works. And I don't care who's pulling the strings as long as the right strings get pulled. I'll hold up my end ot the deal, and I'll make sure those seats get filled. That should be enough to get me the opportunities I want.

If some extra adversity comes along with the package, so be it.

Douglas smirks.

Douglas: Ya know, there's something I like about you...not personally, but I like your potential, your hunger, your desire. Personally, I feel that if you wouldn't worry so much about what these bloodsucking leeches that you call fans think, you'd be even better than what you are. However, that's your call. You see, these fans didn't get you to where you are, your ability did, your drive did, your passion did.

The only thing these fans have been doing is jumping on your back and sucking the juices out of the hard work you created, just for themselves. Professionally, it doesn't matter to me, as long as you're making the money for this company, then I don't mind if you're the champion or anyone else is. If someone happens to get involved, then I would make sure I have eyes in the back of my head.

Understand this though, next time you decide to save someone in the ring...change your mind. Look out for only yourself. You'll live a lot longer that way. And if I were you, I'd spend at least half time you do talking to instead train my ass off. As far as how this business works, I don't play favorites. My name's not Chad Jamison or Ravi Moon.

Well, there are some things you and I are always gonna disagree on, but for the most part I'm glad we understand each other. I'm sure this won't be the last time we talk, Boss.

Hawkins makes a gesture, literally tipping a hat that he's not wearing, before turning and heading down the hall...

As Hawkins leaves, Douglas goes behind his desk, reaches into a duffle bag, and pulls out his personal FTW Octane Title belt. He then walks to the shelves, and places it in the center shelf.

Douglas is now seated at his laptop, checking his e-mail, when something catches his eye. He clicks on the link from Mikey Chang, then sees the altercation between Scarnet, Cornett, Lickinova, Vespertine, and Centric. His face becomes scarlet as he goes to his phone to text Scarnet.

Caladbolg Scarnet, having received the text message that was sent via Douglas' phone, wasn't in a good mood to start with. With the inability to talk, he wasn't exactly able to defend himself, but he was at least willing to try. As he approached the office doors, Jamilyn and Sonja arrived from the opposite direction, seeming a bit giggly. Caladbolg held his hand up and, justifiably angry, smacked himself on the side of the head, signaling a "What the #*$% is wrong with you?" look.

JMC: "What's going on, Cal? Why are we even here?"

He quickly typed out something on his Sidekick.

"Um, hello?! Your little pet display the other night? What exactly were you two thinking?! I haven't even had a match here yet, and thanks to your rambuncious attitudes, I might already be out of a job!"

JMC: "Look, I'm sorry, okay? I don't even know what I was thinking about entertaining the idea Vespertine had, but you're right, we went too far the other night."

SML: "I am sorry too...we should not have done that."

"Well, Sonja, this is NOT one I can explain at this point, as I'm inable to talk. I can't even tell him that I tried to get you guys backstage so the humiliation wouldn't continue. Now Centric's debut is ruined, Vespertine's on the warpath last I heard, and I'm not even sure I can HANDLE what Mister Douglas has in store for us."

JMC: "Wait, why would you even be at risk for getting fired? It's not like any of it was your idea."

Cal gives a quick look that almost reads, "Are you THAT dense?!" He resumes typing.

"Technically I'm in charge of both of your contracts now. That makes me the responsible party. Or did you forget that back at Piere's? I swear to God, if we do not lose our jobs, I'm personally keeping you two out of my sight at least until Boiling Point....are we understood?"

The girls both nod as Cal continues typing.

"In the meantime, you two need to explain to him what the hell was in your heads or in your systems when you decided that this whole public pet thing was a good idea. Had I known you two were going to take it THAT far, I'd have refused the chain."

Caladbolg finally knocks, and when a muffled "Come in!" is heard, he slowly opens the door. He lets Jamilyn and Sonja in first, as their actions resulted in this disciplinary action in the first place. He follows suit, lowering his hood as a sign of respect for Douglas. As red as his face looks, though, Caladbolg prays that he'll at least be able to keep his job.

Douglas looks at the three in front of him, his look a little different than it was a little while ago when he had seen the video. He was still mad, face still red, but something had calmed him a little bit. He stands from his desk, looks at Cornett and Lickinova, and points at the couch.

Douglas: Sit down.

He then looks to Scarnet and points to the yellow chair.

Douglas: You too.

All three sat down with no hesitation.

Douglas pulls his desk chair around to the side of his desk. He sits down with his left leg over his right, and speaks.

Douglas: First of all, if you ever get a chance to meet Landon Donovan, you can thank him for putting me in a better mood than I was before you got here. Ninety-first damn minute, but at least the U.S. got through.

He takes a moment to pause.

Douglas: Do you have any idea how lucky you are that your little display out there was at a house show...and not on nationwide television!?

He's looking back and forth between Cornette and Lickinova on the couch and Scarnet on the chair.

Douglas: Scarnet, obviously you and I can text between each other during this, so I'd start typing right now to tell me something if I were you.

Cal nods and starts typing away on his Sidekick as Jamilyn turns to MDD with a sorrowful look.

JMC: "Permission to speak freely, sir?"

Douglas shoots his head in Cornett's direction.

Douglas: This isn't the damn military. A simple "may I speak" would've been just fine. But since you asked nicely anyway, yes, start talking.

JMC: I'll make sure to remember that next time. Look, Sonja and I know we screwed up.

She begins to stroke Sonja's hair as she talks, the action apparently calming the Molotov Mocktail down.

JMC: All I was trying to do was get a match booked between Cal and Ace, since they're two new guys. But Vespertine offered that match, and Sonja didn't want to lose me...we're so connected right now. Now, I don't agree with how far she went, and believe she and I are going to discuss that later, but I should have expected it. I was the one who got her collar and chain as a household play time thing. I never expected that to be done in the middle of the ring...

She gives Sonja a cute wink, though, to let her know it was appreciated.

JMC: The thing is, Mister Douglas, the only one of us three who had no idea what was going on was Cal. He wasn't even aware that I had bought the collar, let alone that my pet here would assume her title the way she did, and he did try a couple of times to redirect the audience's attentions back to himself and Ace. So we definitely deserve to be punished, I'm not arguing that whatsoever. But if there's one person in this room that is truly innocent in what happened and shouldn't be punished, it should be Cal. He and Ace had no idea what was going on, and I have a feeling had Vespertine not offered me that match, I don't think this would have even been an issue.

Cal finally finishes typing and sends it to MDD. The message is as follows:

Douglas has his hands folded over each other resting in front of his mouth, his elbows placed on his knees. After both Cornett's and Scarnet's cases, he turns to Cornett first.

Douglas: While you may say that you don't agree with how far she went, you seemed to enjoy yourself in the heat of the moment. Let me make something perfectly clear to you two. This isn't Taxicab Confessions on HBO, this isn't midnight on Cinemax, and this damn sure isn't the Playboy network or the Spice channel!

Do you have any idea in the slightest who Jamison and I have to answer to in these situations? We have sponsors to answer to. We have management to answer to. It's never is a good thing when the Board of Directors may want to talk to you about how a sponsor stopped paying us for advertising because two of our talent acted like tramps and had to have their little PDA S&M display!

Like I said, you two are very lucky this happened at a house show and not on TV. The number of potentially lost sponsors would have been through the roof. What you guys do in your own homes or at the hotels, FTW cameras or not, is up to you...but what you do in these arenas, you have Jamison, you have me, and you have a Board of Directors to answer to, and to be honest, we're not very friendly when you guys stress us out this much.

He then looks to Scarnet.

Douglas: As for you, she's somewhat correct. You were not directly responsible for what happened out there....However, you were indirectly responsible since you're the one that controls their contracts. If I were you Scarnet, I would start thinking about letting Cornett take control of her own contract, as well as Miss Lickinova's.

However, that decision is entirely up to you. For all I know, you may feel it best to be able to keep tabs on them, but at the end of the day, if you do hold onto their contracts, your head goes on the same chopping block theirs do. For now, I'll let it slide. You have an important debut match against our Octane Champion, and I want to keep that match intact. As for you two.

He looks back to Cornett and Lickinova.

Douglas: Miss Cornett, do you enjoy handing out punishment?

He's keeping his voice in a very business-like tone.

Jamilyn's eyes raise up on that one. Someone had been doing their homework...

JMC: Well, as a matter of fact, between the training that my father did with me in our home ring and the improvements Cal's made with me over the last year, I'd like to think I can hold my own. (smirking, half-seductive, but still businesslike) What do you have in mind?

Douglas's tone stays very serious. Apparently, he and Cornett were not on the same page.

Douglas: Oh no, Miss Cornett. I think you misunderstood me. You see, this isn't about a match. No, the kind of punishment I had in mind was more along the lines of...suspension.

Before any of the three could protest though, Douglas held his hand up and yelled "Wait!"

Douglas: However, I'm not going to do that. Considering you're new here, you're still getting used to the settings around here, and the fact that no one is really comfortable with me just yet, I'm going to be very lenient on this. I'm going to fine you and Miss Lickinova $5,000 each, and that's being generous...damn generous.

I was originally going to suspend you two for a week without pay, but I think this will do just fine...for now. Any problems with that?
