(He nodded)

Matthews: Considering that I have no love lost for Victor myself, I'll be more than happy to see that day come. Of course, it's not like I don't have the same feeling toward Eric Dane either.

(He looked at James after the display he just put forth.)

Matthews: You know, you need to stop doing shit like that James.

"We...are trying to keep rational."

Uh oh...this could only mean two things. Either Jason and Lucas were about to join for an attack...

or 'he' was starting to surface.

Ryan, thinking on his smarts, started leafing through James' clothes until he found a preloaded bat and tossed it to him. James grabbed a lighter from his pocket and started inhaling from the bat, his eyes going from black to the normal green they had been prior to that.

"Thanks, man...I've been a little out of control since finding out Jamilyn had to give lip service to Anstice in order to get trained for the ring..."

Matthews: Wait, what? Okay...if I just heard you right, that fat fuck is going to die. It's just a matter of who gets to him first. By the way, I heard some rumblings about something Jamilyn did at Boiling Point, or at least was about to do. If you want to have a father-daughter talk to her, just throw it in there that Chad Jamison is known to cast women aside when he gets what he wants from them, and usually most of what he wants has to do with sex.

"From the way it was sounding she initiated the interaction between them to go back to manager status, which was a smart move on her part. She's not ready to be in the ring yet. But I plan to have a personal chat with Chad soon regarding a number of issues. At least he was respectful enough to decline her. As for fat fuck..."

James smirked to himself. Ryan was finally starting to show where his mind was, and James...well, between James and Shadow, the two mindsets were, for the first time in a long while, linked.

"Depending on what happens between now and Outrage, I might just use an old method of mine..."

"Wait, wait..." NRC had to interrupt for a second, as he was a bit lost in the process. "Fat fuck...you mean Caladbolg Scarnet? As in the same guy who ran C2W while it was part of the WWA? But why would he do that?"

"A LOT has happened since you and I last talked, Corey...Matthews, you want to fill him in? If I start talking, you know who is going to resurface, and I think we've already seen THAT isn't a good idea," James said, pointing back to Jason and Lucas, who was just starting to get his wind back.

Matthews: Here's the short version, James was undergoing treatment for cancer, he faked his death to try to get one of his relatives to leave his daughter alone, turns out it didn't work the way he hoped it would so he came back. Caladbolg came to FTW awhile back and from what I'm just learning he's just as bad if not worse than Rune, who was the original cause of all this shit. And of course Sam said some not too flattering things about James' daughter.

James nods his head. "That's pretty much it. God only knows what he's done to Sonja since she started living there..."

James cracked his knuckles and sat back down.

"Here's the thing--Jamilyn's personality has been affected dramatically...to the point she almost seems like a different person. The only one she seems to be caring about lately is our sugar daddy Ryan over here," James laughed, pointing at Matthews. "The rest of the time, she's been borderline trashy. You compact into this that Cal hasn't been seen or heard from since two weeks ago...when Jami started clearing up...anybody getting the idea yet?"

Matthews: Part of me wonders if he did something to Harmony too even though I was around for a few of the times the two of them talked.

(He looks at the floor for a moment.)

Matthews: Either way he's going to get hurt next time he steps anywhere near me.

James shook his head sincerely. "No, I can tell you right now, he wouldn't have been able to. Harmony's issues are separate from what's going on with Anstice, although knowing the way he operates, it wouldn't have surprised me to see him try for that. He did seem like he was right up there with Harm..."

The way Ryan balled his fist up, James knew he was at a breaking point. "If it makes you feel any better, Jamilyn has done nothing but compliment you since we left the hotel the other night. She just thinks the world of you, man...and you have no idea how much just you being there for her mattered when she found out about Nikki."

(He shrugs)

Matthews: It was all a matter of me somehow for once being in the right place at the right time really. Somebody needed me, and I was there. It just so happens that someone was Jamilyn. Despite her previously being angry with me, I'm not a completely heartless bastard, and I know how rough losing one somebody you care about can be, let alone thinking you've lost two in a matter of months can really do a number on somebody.

(From his pocket, his cell phone buzzes and immediately he pulls the device from his pocket and takes a look at it.)

Matthews: Shit, I forgot about that...Listen, I can't stay and chat though I'd love to. Sam's manager, Jeannine just texted me asking where the fuck I am because there was supposed to be a meeting between Cheap Heat and some sponsorship opportunities. Apparently they think we can be good pitchmen...I hate doing commercials though and they know that. Anyways James, I gotta run. It was fun and interesting as always. Likewise Nightbringer, I'm sure I'll see the two of you around.

(After shaking the hands of both men he takes his leave of the situation...)

[Corey stands there for a minute, watching Ryan Matthews leave. He looks thoughtful, taking in everything that his brain has just been bombarded with.]

"So let me get this straight...Rune's the one who's been mucking all this stuff up all this time? And now Caladbolg is in need of a serious ass-kicking, as well?"

[Corey thinks again for a moment, then gives JMC THAT grin....if you know NRC, then you know THAT grin.]

"Want I should pay ol' Cal a little visit?"

"It's a little more complicated than that, Ryan...Rune's the last one alive of the troublemakers in my family, but yes, right now he's the main one I'm concerned about. Although, the way my world's been going, it wouldn't surprise me if Rune and Caladbolg were cooperating somehow. Rune seemed to know too much about the New Jack Swing mixture..."

James nodded to NRC, his eyes once again on his phone.

"Yeah, I'm not going to argue if someone wants to beat that mute's ass in a little for me..."

[Corey grins evilly.]

"Well, I do need someone with which to make a mark.....someone on which to, shall we say, perfect a few new moves?"

"The way I see it, if Caladbolg becomes the example of what our new tag team is capable of, then I say we do it." James looked to the ring and smirked. "All we gotta do now is come up with a combination move and a team name, and we're good to go. I think we're familiar with each others' work well enough to compensate for the other one's possible weaknesses..."
